greenmachine Posted February 18, 2006 Share Posted February 18, 2006 In the Options menu of Scite there is an item that says "Open Abbreviations File". I opened that, and in it is all the abbreviations you can type into Scite (and press spacebar to activate). I really like the idea of making shortcuts for things I use often, so I tried to make my own abbreviation. However, it doesn't work. Why not? I've gone through several abbrev files that I've found, edited them all, used the UpdateDefs script, and restarted Scite several times. It still doesn't read my new abbreviation.
