well, your generator ist faster, but not good.

putting some random numbers into a random field is not difficult.

that way, you can't be sure that ths SuDoku is solvable.

and it's not a "beautiful" SuDoku, 'cause a good SuDoku needs to be symetrical.

as i started my project, i intended to do it the same way as u, but later i recognized that u need a complete grid first...

I know. I don't use math to create or check the grid.

Random generation is faster. And if it works, it's good enough.
