Compile A .au3 Gui?

3 posts in this topic

I downloaded autoit builder then designed a GUI then assigned all functions for the buttons + other stuffs I had. When I wanna run it, it makes an error saying that GUIcreate is an unknown function name. I know I can run it with autoit3-gui.102.18a but I wanna compile it into an .exe file and if I do that, it still makes me same error. Could you guys tell me how to compile it. :D

Here's how I do it (assuming default AutoIt installation):

Go to "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\" and rename "AutoIt3.exe" to something like "original_AutoIt3.exe"

Go to "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Aut2Exe" and rename "AutoItSC.bin" to something else

Download AutoIt3.exe and AutoItSC.bin from http://www.hiddensoft.com/autoit3/files/unstable/autoit/

Copy these to the appropriate folders above. You should now be able to run any .AU3 gui script by double clicking; and compiling should work.

Use Mozilla | Take a look at My Disorganized AutoIt stuff | Very very old: AutoBuilder 11 Jan 2005 prototype I need to update my sig!
