Ftp User+pword In Url

i remember there was some kind of way of typing the ftp address of the server, but you could also add the Username and password to the url so that you dont have to type it in, like

ftp://blah.com/@Username:Pword

or something, but i totally forgot please help me!!

ftp://username:password@hostname/

as a side note, anything before the @ is sent as name/password even if ignored, so beware of any fake addresses, like:

http://freeware.microsoft.com:Freesoftware...toitscript.com/
