Is There A Way...close All Taskbar'ed Apps

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to kill all running taskbar'ed processes...leaving the SysTray'ed apps untouched?

IOW, I'd like to kill all apps reported in the Applications list of the Windows Task Manager.

Processlist() returns back EVERYTHING: services, taskbar'ed apps, systray'ed apps

I want to write a script/exe that would allow me to (in essence) reset a PC without actually restarting it.

Ultimately, this tool would be used in a comp lab env. to allow the instructor to reset all the workstations after the students use them. This would be used in conjunction with my EXECUTE script (http://www.shrum.net/code/execute) to allow for mass-PC control.
