Error Open Chm-file

5 posts in this topic

I can't open an chm-file in explorer, i get message:

Can't open file mk:@MSITStore:C\Temp\Autoit\install\Autoit.chm

I think it has to do with some program i have installed, removed.

Anyone knowing how to fix it, maybe in the registry?

I know microsoft has a solution for windows98, but i run windows2000.

Thanks

Are you sure about the full path ? Did you use a : after the C ??

mk:@MSITStore:C:\Temp\Autoit\install\Autoit.chm

Open the run window or a command window and type:

hh.exe "D:\Program Files\AutoIt3\AutoIt.chm"

Where "D:\Program Files\AutoIt3\AutoIt.chm" is replaced by your path to the AutoIt.chm file.

..or if persists, remember:

AutoIt uses compiled HTML (.chm) for the help files.  If you are unable to read these files (some Windows 95 users), then you can install the HTML Help Update from here (requires a minimum of IE 3.0).
