Is it possible to get a script to read a text file stored on a remote server, for example i upload a text file with prices of products, that i can change at will, then when the user activates the script, it retrives the current price, also is it possible to write to this file??

Any help is much appreaciated

Simple CIFS shares work fine in paths also. Put your file in a share and access with "\\$ServerName\$ShareName\$PathName\$FileName". You can set up your own protocols and everything, but laz^H^H^H easy is always better... :)
