Scripting WinXP Performance Monitor

Recommended Posts

I'm looking into scripting the Windows XP Performance monitor that is in the Administration Tools menu under Control Panel.

My goal is to setup the Performance monitor, to include creating a log file that can be reviewed later. Afterwards, AutoIT can expose the log file for interpretation.

What, if any, AutoIT Beta commands supports this internally?

Does anyone have scripts or ideas to share...

I always seem to run into a menu choice, button, or window issue whenever I attempt to script an MMC application add-in.

In case someone wants to know where I'm going with this...WinXP Home and Pro computers used to host/serve a client-server application or game. I want to tune the OS via registry settings hopefully to improve its performance.
