trying to read a string from the web, witch gets updated Constantly

iam trying to figure out the best way of, displaying an updated string from the web to in inputbox

,anyone done this, cause iam currently trying to read a string from an webpage that gets updated frecuently,but i cant get the string to update, the way iam doing it is by reading the string from the webpage that i have downloaded,as a text file readind the string constantly,but the only thing i get is the current string in the area to get the updated string from.

lets say an example, a page that updates frecuently, every now and then a specific string is updated to another string, ok heres a better example, lets say i wanted to display whos online here on this forum by displaying the current users in an list on my gui,what would be the best way to do this so the listbox in my guy contains the updated list/strings of who is online, constantly?
