what folder is the currend background that i am using on my desktop kept??

I lost my keys... does anyone know where they are :D.

Desktop >> Right Click >> Properties >> Desktop >> Scroll to picture >> Browse Button ... That should do it :P

That's the manual way ... if you want it progmatically, maybe someone can show you cpl or registry way... but I gotta run.

no not how to change the background but where the image you selected i stored is it in the redgerstry?

You know, you have to work on your comunication skills. You did ask where the file was located. I don't know the keys in the registry but you could probably track it down with regmon and filemon from www.sysinternals.com

Start regmon. Then change your backround. Analyze the result in regmon. Or get a copy of installrite and do the same.

Even if you did change the regkey, I think you would have to refreash the desktop.

Are you going to post the src when you get it done? I'm not really that sure if you need to/how you would refreash the desktop.
