Hotkey pause is probably one of the most repeatedly asked questions in the support forum. Do a little search and you will see the many examples of this.

AutoIt Scripts:Aimbot: Proof of Concept - PixelSearching Aimbot with several search/autoshoot/lock-on techniques.Sliding Toolbar - Add a nice Sliding Toolbar to your next script. Click the link to see an animation of it in action!FontInfo UDF - Get list of system fonts, or search to see if a particular font is installed.Get Extended Property UDF - Retrieve a files extended properties (e.g., video/image dimensions, file version, bitrate of song/video, etc)

The helpfile explains it pretty good detail, it doesn't loop unless you program it too. Look at the _TogglePause() example on how they used While/WEnd example to keep it in a loop.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

usually its controlled by varibles that change based on their current state

Hotkeyset("{HOME}", "TogglePause")

While $on = 1
;;Do Whatever
Wend

Func TogglePause()
If $on= 1 Then
$on = 0
Endif
If $on=0 Then
$on=1
Endif
Endfunc

you might want to test your code before posting...

...how does the hotkey thing work...

...very well, it works very well... :-)

See the help file under HotKeySet. The example is at the bottom of the page.
