Logevent()

A while ago I saw people talking about a function that can write to the Windows event log. Having such a function would be really handy, because a script could leave traces of its progress and errors for later research.

Beeing able to read the logs is not really required, in my opinion.

Does anyone know wether logevent() has been implemented ...?

With Windows XP you also can use 'eventcreate.exe'.
