dabus
First of all, I hope this is the right forum to post this question.I am using a tool called nagios (see http://www.nagios.org -- really neat ) to monitore our network and some services, processes and so on. I also created a simple tool based on tcpsend/recv-examples that is able to execute commands on windows-machines.It would be of great help if anyone knows already which tool to use to send text via tcp to a certain port/ip. I searched and found netcat, but it seems like it does not what I need (or I am just to stupid to figure out). It should be more like an echo...So, any suggestions?
