I love autoit. But the window info quite often does not read components of most new applications (javascript, php, java). Is there any update in progress?

Thanks

If AutoIt cannot see it, then why have AutoIt Info Tool see it?

If it is for Com use with these applications, then perhaps a different tool is needed to separate any confusion for functions needed.

It's a good question, but your reply went right over my head. Could you explain your reply in a little more detail?

Thanks.... :">

For example, a HTML document with links, submit buttons etc can now be controlled more efficiently with the latest AutoIt Beta using the IE.au3 UDFs. AutoIt Info Tool still cannot give you information on this display.

This is where some other tool is needed to display the information. If you search the Internet, you may find applications the can help you with reading these.

I am currently designing a tool that does exactly this. However I will have to wait on some additional functionality for AutoIt that Valik is working on.

Some VBScript here which addresses DOM etc, but uses classes  .

Do a Google search for ModIV2 -- it works very similarly to the AtoIt window info tool for the DOM.

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?
