5 posts in this topic

Hi,

THere is something strange i guess with Window Management Function.

I don't understand why when i get the handle of a windows i need to use ID, cause in my case in open the regedit window but with AU3info tool i cannot get the global window ID, so i cannot use ControlSend (which is what i prefer to be sure to use the correct window).

I hope you can help me.

Tx

You don't need the window handle, just title (and optionaly some visible text) for ControlSend(). I don't know if it will take a window handle in place of title/text.

I don't know if it will take a window handle in place of title/text.

It will if you use this at the top of your script.

Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 4)

yes it works like that

But i have a problem i try to solve again, i launch a CTRL+H (^f) to open search windows and sometimes it works sometimes not ?

When it doesn't work if i make myself the shorcut, my script then execute the next steps ?? strange.

I correctly get the handle and add a winwait but ?

Mybe its my windows that his crazy
