Scanner & Camera Wizard

Greetings!

I've been pulling my hair of for a few days. I need to find a way to change the default settings for the Scanner & Camera Wizard in Windows XP.

When you start it you have (roughly translation them since I dont use a English OS):

Picture Type: Color

Paper source: Documentfeed

Pagesize: Legal 8,5 x 14 inches (216 x 356mm)

But I need it to be

Picture Type: Black and white picture or text

Paper source: Documentfeed

Pagesize: A4 210 x 297 mm (8,3 x 11,7 inches)

I found a registry key at both HKEY_CurrentUser and HKEY_Users

"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WIA"

In there you can change which folder to be seen, which the default fileformat is to be saved as etc. And also a key named "AcquisitionManagerDialogCustomSettings" which is stored ad a REG_BIN and Hex (contains 4600ish numbers/letters). Tried deleting it, altering it, removing all rights to read it. Nothing changes the default options for the "Scanner and Camera Wizard"
