Winwaitactive question

4 posts in this topic

This is bugging the heck outta me. I'll show the code and then explain after.

_RunDOS('"C:\GDRSetupTemp\GDR EventLog Client.reg"')
WinWaitActive("Registry Editor", "Are you sure you want to add the information in C:\GDRSET~1\GDREVE~1.REG to the registry?")
ControlClick("Registry Editor", "Are you sure you want to add the information in C:\GDRSET~1\GDREVE~1.REG to the registry?", 6)
        _RunDOS('"C:\GDRSetupTemp\GDR EventLog Server.reg"')

I execute the rundos command and then a window pops up asking me if I'm sure that I want to registry the file. I have it waiting until the window pops up and then having it press the yes button. But it is not seeing the window that is poping up. I have tryed most of the 'Win' commands to try it, but to no avail. I must be missing something so obvious that I can't figure it out. Thanks in advance

_RunDOS('RegEdit /s "C:\GDRSetupTemp\GDR EventLog Client.reg"')

Use /s on regedit to silently do it

Edit:

Changes position of the leading double quote

_rundos is using runwait(), are you sure the script continues ?

This can be checked with Opt("TrayIconDebug", 1)
