Scribble
Hi,I guess you guys are familiar with the "findstr" command under xp, but I was wondering if there was a function (or someone who wrote a UDF) like this in AutoIT... (preferably regular expression capable)Need it to search for given strings in all/selected files in a given folder. The "find" command is too limited/slow and "findstr" isn't available on every machine...Any suggestion welcome! Thanx in advance!
Moderators SmOke_N Posted September 2, 2006 Moderators Share Posted September 2, 2006 Something like:http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...st&p=112742http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...c=20459&hl=?If they both work, I would assume that the first one would be much faster. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
