the_lord_mephy Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Hello, is there a way to read/write Music File attributes? (EG: Artist, Album, etc) (Not in the title of the music file. For example how I-tunes does it) My site for HTML Help :)
Maybe nobody is an "elite uber-coder" like me because thinking is a capital offense in today's online-world?
Achilles Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Check out http://www.autoitscript.com/fileman/users/Lazycat/files/get_mp3_tag_v2.5.1.zip by LazyCat.Very very nice LazyCat.... this was exactly what I was looking for. For some reason the length doesn't work half the time though ... Thanks anyways... lol, I was doing my getting the complete path, splitting the text with "\" and then the last one would be the song (trimmed to not include the file type), the second to last one would be the album, and the third to last one would be artist... Your way seems a bit more reliable...Piano_Man My Programs

Knight Media Player
Multiple Desktops
Daily Comics
Journal
