After sitting in a chatroom, someone mentioned they always have to open 10 websites at the beginning of the day at work.

they asked for a program that could do this automatically. it inspired me to write this.

$i = IniRead("sites.ini","number","amount","NotFound")
For $x = 1 to $i
$var = IniRead("sites.ini","sites", $x, "NotFound")
    Run(@comspec & " /c start " & $var,@scriptdir, @SW_HIDE)
    sleep(1000)
Next

heres the .ini for it

[sites]
1=www.com
2=www.google.com
3=www.yahoo.com

[number]
amount=3

some browsers open shortcuts in the same window and this script wont work if that is the case.

you need to change the settings in your browser to do this.

in internet explorer, click Tools/Internet options and click on the advanced tab.

then uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"

@tOddie

That's why I use Avant Browser :)

Lot's of features, small footprint, ...

oh. i didnt really have a use for this functionality. i did it for someone else and posted it here thinking there might be others that could benefit from this.

the person i originally made it for, needed it for a work computer.

he may not have had the choice of what browser he uses.

this is still a useful script. :P

Using this with Firefox as your default browser, and with Tab Mix Plus, SENDing F8 after calling this script would cause Firefox to cycle through each open window. Perhaps useful to the person who finds this useful.
