Variable number of parameters

8 posts in this topic

I searched but found nothing. Does AutoIt support an arbitrary number of parameters and if so, how? I don't want to just use a large number of optional parameters, but if I have to, it isn't a problem.

No, function parameters. Like NonFunc("a1", "b1", "c1", "d1", ..., "z99", "a100"), in arbitrary amounts.

AFAIK...no

but, maybe a "higher up" could clearify

No is correct. Either pass parameters by an array or make a long string of optional parameters. There is no equivalent in AutoIt to C's "..." concept.

Oh, got it. I think Valik answered it quite easily so I guess that was a good suggestion.
