Agent Orange Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 What if I have a string of text and I have to replace more than one character in that string. The string is in an array so: $a_filenew = StringReplace($a_file[$x],":",";") $a_filenew = StringReplace($a_file[$x],"|","-") $a_filenew = StringReplace($a_file[$x],"&","and") doesn't work What would be the code that would do this?
Xandl Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Try: $a_file[$x] = StringReplace($a_file[$x],":",";") $a_file[$x] = StringReplace($a_file[$x],"|","-") $a_file[$x] = StringReplace($a_file[$x],"&","and")

Time to introduce you to nesting functions, where the returned data from a function becomes the input parameter to another function: $a_filenew = StringReplace(StringReplace(StringReplace($a_file[$x], ":", ";"), "|", "-"), "&", "and") Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class...
