Basically I am making a scheduling program, and so far the calender is a full screen GUI with groups to denote timeslots.

I think it would be more aesthetically pleasing if I could have these be blocks of color, rounded edges, shadows -- basically a graphical approach.

Essentially is it possible without a third party program to do this in autoit?

It's not as advanced as you'd like, but you might want to take a look at X-Skin.au3

yeah i have been looking at that, but, like you said -- although it makes it look better (and I may be able to do soemthing with it) its not really waht I was going for.

I am thinking more of the difference between Outlook Calendar and iCal for mac.
