Setting Permissions On Folders

2 posts in this topic

I have written a program that creates a few files in the All Users\Desktop folder.

However, I need to ensure that they are set to inherit permissions, otherwise, my users without admin rights would not be able to open them.

Is there a command within AutoIT to control the permissions, or do I need to use a seperate command line tool to do this?

there is no built-in command. You can use ADSI instead.

Take a closer look at the attached file dacl.html.

Cheers
