How to activate a tray icon menu (not an AutoIT program)

Recommended Posts

I have a program installed that does not use a program window at all, it operates entirely from a System Tray icon, and has no option to do otherwise.

There is a need to control it with AutoIT, but I can't find a way of activating or selecting it.

The biggest problem is that the icon is not guaranteed to be in exactly the same place within the system tray, each time I need to use it.

All I need to do is select a menu item from the menu which appears when a "right-click" is performed on the programs tray icon.

Does anyone know of a way that I can automate this please?

Regards
