Command Line Parameters

I have four parameters in command line

Sometimes i didn't have need the last parameters but i am forced to enter it as blank ""

How to enter sometimes just 3 and others times 4 ?

if the parameter is optional and you do not want to exercise your option with one of the optional parameters then use double quotes ( "" ) to nullify that parameter in the option.

Are you talking about Function parameters? if so:

$cmdline[0] give you the number of passed parameters so you can check you get o,ly 3 and do what you want

Another way is to use $Cmdlineraw and strip out the bits...... ie

$Docopy = "Yes"

$DontDoIt="No"

$RenameDir="Yes"

$Raw=StringReplace($Cmdlineraw,@ScriptFullPath,"") ; take out @ScriptFullPath

if stringinstr($Raw,"No") then $Docopy = "No"

if stringinstr($Raw,"Yes") then $Docopy = "Yes"

if stringinstr($Raw,"DontDoIt") then $DontDoIt = "Yes"

if stringinstr($Raw,"NoRename") then $RenameDir = "No"

;if $Docopy = .......

This way it doesnt matter what order the $cmdline parameters are in,

providing of course that each parameter is unique.
