Find type of file when no extension or fake extension

Just a security question:

is there a way to do a searchFile (exemple video, exe, MP3...) when thease file are renamed (alteration of extension) ? thinks a lot

You could use the 'Identifying Characters' section on the filext.com website.. But that dosn't mean all file types will have something like this.. Ex: http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=exe

There is a program (Not AutoIt) that works really good for this purpose.

It is called File Analyzer. Which is made by the same people who make Spybot S & D, so that means its free
