RAMzor
Hello all!I want to edit autocomplete in IE (i know how to delete it), but i want to edit individual entries. For example when i open internet explorer and put my cursor in google's search box and press the down arrow key, then i can see a ton of things i've searched for. how do i edit that list? i've read that it is encrypted somewhere in the registry ( HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider ? ) but i can't find where and how do i then decrypt it and edit the list when i find it?Thanks Edited November 21, 2006 by RAMzor

someone
Hey I searched around for a bit I may have something info that might help...Editing the auotocomplete in the address bar seems fairly easy, browse to Registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLsand you can delete keys you want...That being said, I looked into the protected sotrage you mentioned I'm not sure if it contains ALL autocomplete info or only passwords, but check this out:http://lastbit.com/wse/default.aspIts a program that will let you view the protected storage. On the right you can download a demo, hopefully this would at least tell you if the info you want is even in there.Other then that if you go to google and highlight one of the auotcomplete lines and press the delete key it will delete the entry. Maybe you could make a script using IE.au3 to scroll through the autocomplete lines and delete the ones you want?
