Dearl All

I programming an AutoIt code to run a batch file as follow

Run(@scriptDir & "\test.bat")

Test.bat function that get a reg key

REG QUERY "HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICRSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION" /V EDITIONID > %WINDIR%\TEMP\TEST.TXT

I tried it on the 32bit and 64bit of Vista OS

It can run on 32bit for Vista correctly

but run on 64bit of Vista OS

It can run the bat file, but make the bat file can't get the reg key

I ran the bat file by manual, It also could run correctly

So, Are there anybody also get the program?

Have you tried RegRead()?

Why are you running on both 32 and 64 bit operating systems?

REG QUERY "HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICRSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION" /V EDITIONID

What happens if you run above command in DOS Prompt in 64bit OS?

I have 64bit windows XP and it doesn't work either. This is because the registry value you are looking for doesn't exist, at least not on my Windows XP x64 edition.

"HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICRSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENTVERSION" - this exists

EDITIONID - This value doesn't exist
