2 posts in this topic

Hi,

Im writing a gui and I want to be able to have the user select a screen area say 50x50 pixels click the mouse button and then have that graphic copied and pasted on to a gui window.

From what I can tell im going to have to make some external calls to windows dlls .

Can anybody help me out here with some examples.

Im not familiar with windows dll programming.

Thanks,

Mark.

Are you talking about taking a screen capture of a region of a window? If so, take a look at the ScreenCap module in Auto3Lib. It has a UDF that will capture a region of the screen and save it to file.
