Speed keys a pressed

Recommended Posts

Hi. I was wondering how you would change the speed of the keys being pressed in AutoIt. I want to some text to write in notepad, but I need the speed of the keys that are being pressed to slow down. If this is not possible.

The default setting is five milliseconds, so change the following to a higher value:

Opt("SendKeyDelay", 5)

Higher

I think you mean lower.

Nope. (S)he wants to slow them down.

riiight and making it a higher value will make it slower... it'd be interesting to do a for.next loop to type a string increasing that value by 10 at each letter...
