Cmd Exe Options

I would like to make an autoit exe that works like a cmd command ok let me explain what I mean.

(Winxp)If in a cmd window u type shutdown /? you get different parameters u can use.

For example shutdown -s -t 60 -c "Computer shutting down"

I want to have different parameter for my exe and I want to run them through cmd.

Can anyone point me in the right direction ? A piece of sample code with one parameter to get me started ?
