3 posts in this topic

Hi @ all!

InetGet downloads some files in my script.

But, sometimes it faild.

I think, InetGet gets a timeout.

Is it possible to change the InetGet-Timeout time?

Greetings,

Hi,

i would before downloading, ping to the server. and set the reload parameter of inetget to 1

you could also check the internet explorer udf or use _IECreate()

I can't answer your question directly but I can tell you from experience that it takes an awfully long time to time out. I can also tell you that if you are using a wireless connection that your adapter may be droping the connection every now and then. Both of these things happen to me here. I also have a downloader script modified from some other work here that is very fault tollerent and so far works the best for me when having this kind of issue.
