How hard could it be to create some kind of online game?

5 posts in this topic

For example, Chess or Checkers would be the easiest. I could just use TCP, and base it off some TCP chat script, right? This may be way over my head, but how hard would it actually be?

Though this might not be the best game-programming-langues due to the lack of objects...

Its very possible, and the difficulty depends on what type of game your doing. Also depends if your going to go client->client or server->client. I'm working on a game atm, currently coding the chat server for it. Man more crazy things have been made in autoit. Look at TCP examples etc..
