uninstall google toolbar

3 posts in this topic

I am trying to write a script that will uninstall the google toolbar. I have searched here and I have even done a google search for it. I did some solutions but none of them work now. I don't really want to touch 100 PCs when a script will do the same thing in half the time. Thanks for your help.

this command is located in the Uninstall info in the registry:

$uninstall = RegRead("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{2318C2B1-4965-11d4-9B18-009027A5CD4F}","UninstallString")
RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c ' & $uninstall,"",@SW_HIDE)

Thank you for your answer. Though I don't quite understand how it works, but I will figure it out.
