Need to resize fullscreen app

3 posts in this topic

I frequently use an old (delphi I think) app that only runs in fullscreen. Is there a way to make it run in an au3 window of a smaller size? I'm able to WinGetHandle and WinSetTitle but WinMove has no effect at all.

any ideas?

AutoIt windo tool reveals:

Press CTRL-ALT-F to freeze the display.

There are ways to get full screen apps in a window, but I don't think you'd want to know about them. =) No kidding.

Try the all simple, Alt+Space method, and if that doesn't work, Alt+Tab out of the application and right-click on it's tray icon. Click Properties. You'd be able to find a radio group with the options:

( ) Window

(*) Fullscreen.

Select the window option.
