kev51773
This may not be the correct place to ask this question but here goes. Theres a problem with dual core CPU's and recent nvidia cards. Basically one of the cores stalls. The solution is to change the processor affinity (set the affinity to the unaffected core, and then back to both) Ive written a script that can kill and restart a core easily enough, but so far my only option is to have it run on a hotkey or on a timer. What I'd like to do is to actually detect when the problem has occured, and then reset the affinity. Does anyone know how I can check the CPU usage per core for a process? Then I might be able to get somewhere.
Uten
Don't know if you can use this script by Larry, but it might give you ideas? Please keep your sig. small! Use the help file. Search the forum. Then ask unresolved questions :) Script plugin demo, Simple Trace udf, TrayMenuEx udf, IOChatter demo, freebasic multithreaded dll sample, PostMessage, Aspell, Code profiling
