Placing shortcuts

4 posts in this topic

I have a folder that has several icons I drag onto the right and bottom sides the desktop. I thought about trying to use MouseClickDrag but it is related to the number of pixels so if I move from a 1440 x 900 to a 1280x1024 my coordinates will be off, if they even exist.

Maybe there is a better way to put my shortcuts in particular areas. Hope so. Your thoughts please.

Use the @DesktopHeight and @DesktopWidth macros to do the math.

$X = @DesktopWidth - 120
$Y = @DesktopHeight - 120

Thanks, that will help.

And thanks again for the function "pointer".
