Arranging icons (shortcuts)

One of the things my scripts does is install sw such as WinMerg, Ethereal, Dependency Walker, MySQL, etc. After these are installed how could one use AutoIt to arrange the icons in a particular order and location.? Hunting around with the mouse does no good as the Info Window doesn't indicate anything when passing over them. Maybe it would help to know where the properties are saved that tells desktop what to paint where.

I also have a folder of shortcuts I need to place on the screen in specific locations.
