What's the Fn key mapping on Tablet/Laptop Convertable?

Recommended Posts

AutoIT noob here -

I am looking for a way to determine if the "Fn" key is pressed on my tablet/laptop. I would like to be in Tablet mode and be able to use AutoIT to trigger the Fn+F1 -Fn+F12 keystroke combos

I have looked around and found little dealing with the Fn key. From searching the forums I guess there isnt a way to detect if a key is pressed unless you know its mapping already (so as not to make a key logger) .

Does anyone know the mapping of the Fn key?

As per the help file:

"Most laptop computer keyboards have a special Fn key. This key cannot be simulated."
