Problem with environment variables

Recommended Posts

Guest jjohnson085

Hi,

I have a script called autorun.cmd file that calls another .cmd called env.cmd that has some environment variables set. For example:

set bserverip=10.9.29.41

set sitecode=tpa3

In autorun.cmd, I am mapping a drive based on the ip that is being set by the %bserverip% variable.

I am having trouble in my .au3 script calling env.cmd so that the .au3 script can use the variables to map the drive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jeff

In Windows, only the processes launched by the cmd file will "see" those environment variables. Therefore env.cmd will need to call another au3 for the au3 to "see" the environment that env.cmd set up.

Who else would I be?
