I compared 2 different sort methods.

GUICtrlRegisterListViewSort versus _GUICtrlListView.au3, ListView GUI Fast Sort - 20x faster

_GUICtrlListView.au3 is much faster, how come GUICtrlRegisterListViewSort is the method preferred by the developer team ?

That might be so.. but it might be acceptable with vbs if it were submitted with full error checking and up to UDF Standards?

IMO, your version is good to use if users know how to debug it

I know autoit and vbs, so when i can, i use your function for the sort function, and when i need more error checking and more stability (not due to your function, but by vbs crashes) i need autoit one's

i think your function is good as it, if your rewrite it for "udf standard", so the users will be lost, and some others users will ask you "why did you implement it as UDF standard ? it's to confusing !"

that's my opinion.
