Radsam Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 This function works great except for the length of time it takes to return. Is there another way to get a faster result? Eg - querying 2 seperate folders on local disk of remote workstation. (i know about network latency, however concidering if I can view the remote pc's C$ and view the properties of both of the folders and get my answer before the function finishes tells me it isn't a network issue.) Any help?
Shevilie Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 AFAIK the folder size you get the "fast" way, only show the size of the files in the parent directory, and not the files deeper in folders, whereas DirGetSize does it.
