Recommended Posts

Maybe there is a solution to read Java windows. By using DLLCalls.

Sun have developed a Java Access Bridge, which contains DLLs to read Java windows ..

http://java.sun.com/products/accessbridge/

API documentation is here ..

http://java.sun.com/products/accessbridge/docs/api.html

JavaFerret is a simple app, that reads java screens ...

Can anybody help me, how to use this API with AutoIt...?

Hello,

I tried to install Java Access Bridge using installer. But the installation cannot complete at the search desk for java installations...

I click cancel and restart the machine. Looks like Java Access Bridge is installed. But the jar files does not get copied to my jdk1.5.0_11 lib/ext folder. I did copy the files to the ext folder per set instruction.

When click JavaFerret.exe, JavaFerret window does not open.

This is on Window XP machine with java 1.5.0_11.

Could not find any trouble shooting information for this. Please help.

Thanks!

Kui

After read the help for dllcall, have an idea on how this function works, but still not clear how to use dllcall to call function from java access bridge in autoit. Can someone share examples?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Did you have any success calling the DLL from AutoIt? I have Ferret up and running too, but can't get the DLL calls to work from AutoIt. Have you had any success?
