Screen Brightness

Is there a way to set the LCD backlight brightness through AutoIT? I need a method that does not navigate through the GUI to achieve this operation. I've seen several examples including a very promising vbscript example here: http://mobilepcwiki.com/mpc/index.php?titl...tallation_Notes, however I am unsure as to how this can be implemented in AutoIT.

The "WmiMonitorBrightnessMethods" in the vbs script you referenced is only available in Vista, not XP or earlier.

If you have Vista, then check out http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.ph...amp;showfile=29 it should help you in converting the script
