Microsoft F Lock key

Hi,

I have a (%$^&) key called the F Lock :rolleyes:

Everytime i start up the computer i must push that key and that is horrible.

so i must know witch key this is (like hotkey) so i can make a script that activates every time the key :rambo:

someone the same problem?

F key??? never heard of it, and i dont think that a hotkey such as this can exist

look at Send() in help file, all the possible hotkeys are listed there

If you're not connected via USB, then the registry hacks mentioned work well. Otherwise, looks like you'll need to do the XML thing...

that looks to me like scroll lock or num lock, you can set that to be on or off in the bios. press F10 (or Esc in some machines) to get to the bios setup

EDIT: yes that is num lock

this is a function key I know this keyboard I had one befor

from the help file

Most laptop computer keyboards have a special Fn key. This key cannot be simulated.

Edit: I would suggest a script that can reads the keyboard key press

to give the value of the pressed key
