But you could kick off a Perl script using ShellExecute(). lordofthestrings Posted July 6, 2007 Share Posted July 6, 2007 offcourse Dale's answer is better but you can see it like this: any script is interpreted. .BAT is interpreted by CMD.EXE .PL Scripts are interpreted by perl.exe, so you could say: run('Interpreter Script.ext') but as I said in your specific case I would investigate Dale's method.. this will benefit you alot more than learning how to call external apps from AutoIt...
