is there a way to limit your gui's resizing to a point, i mean a resizable window that cant get smaller that e.g. 200 x 200

If your GUI is running in Event Mode (and if not, why not?)... then you can just have a function triggered by $GUI_EVENT_RESIZED that the window size and adjusts as required.
