How to get the content of mshmtl.dll COM?

6 posts in this topic

I have a application use mshtml.dll. Maybe It use ScriptBridge.ScriptBridge.1 ActiveX. But I don't know how to use ObjGet to get that COM.

Even if I use ObjCreate() to make the COM, next I use ObjGet() to get COM but it return 0.

So how can I get the code?

The application looks like Microsoft® HTML Help Executable but it doesn't allow user copy the content.

If you use ObjCreate, there should be no reason to use ObjGet

$oSB = ObjCreate("ScriptBridge.ScriptBridge")

Then use $oSB.whatever to start using it.

I use ObjCreate to create an object. And I use ObjGet to check if ObjGet works correctly.

I have the application looks like Microsoft® HTML Help Executable. It use InternetExplorer Object to display the content. And I don't know how to get the complete content from this application. I can't use GetText()!

The application also disables the right click content menu. So I can't use Ctrl A and Ctrl V to get the content.

Because it looks like Microsoft® HTML Help Executable so if you can get text from Microsoft® HTML Help Executable so you can get text from it.

Please tell me how.

In details, the application use Microsoft Web Browser ActiveX to display.

I think that it's similar to Autoit with "ObjCreate("shell.explorer.2")

So I write some code in AUtoX like that ObjGet("","shell.explorer.2") but the function return null.

DaleHohm, cau you tell me how to get the Microsoft Web Browser of the other application.

$oIE = _IEAttach()

Check the help file for the various matching techniques available to match the right instance.
