Search Example scripts for 7Zip dll or Download 7 zip, use the command line version (7za.exe) and read the help file for the command line parameters. Then you can use RunWait or ShellExecuteWait.

The PCRE (Regular Expression) ToolKit for AutoIT - (Updated Oct 20, 2011 ver:3.0.1.13) - Please update your current version before filing any bug reports. The installer now includes both 32 and 64 bit versions. No change in version number.

I prefer 7zip also. Unlimited capability and it works everywhere I need it to.

But if you are using XP or later, there are also native capabilities in Explorer for accessing/extracting zip files. There are some limits in file size, etc., but it doesn't require any extra files to use it. This is a thread I posted a modified UDF in: Easy Zip Compression using Windows XP

I quit messing with it once I converted everything over to 7zip, but the follow up by others has been helpful.
